Family fun time

I have to say that photographing children is one of my most favorite things to do! And the more the merrier!

Last weekend I headed out to the orchard to photograph some wonderful siblings/cousins who were just too cute for their britches! (Yes, I said britches. hehe.)

Check this out. I’m in love with this! *sigh* Pretty soon they’ll be saying “YUCK!” when you ask them to hug! LOL.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Be safe out there! Watch out for little witches, including my daughter :)

Just to let everyone know, I will be out of the office until Tuesday, Nov. 3. Feel free to drop me a line or give me a call. I’ll be sure and get back to you as soon as I return!

Child’s play

I was so happy that Robin and Larry brought their little ones back to me for some portraits! I’ve photographed their oldest, Olivia, several times, but had yet to meet their newest edition, Mark! Let me just say, he’s a sweetheart!

Such a happy baby! Just check him out:

And everyone knows by now that I’m a sucker for black and whites. Especially if a naked baby is involved! LOL!

We tried SO hard to get a good one of the two of them. This was about the best we could do! Sometimes it can be hard with two little ones! They’re looking at me like “You want me to do what?”

Here’s one of Mark alone in the harvest setting. I just loved his expression! So serious …

Olivia proved a challenge to get photographed! But that’s normal! There’s so much to do and see at this age! But then I brought out the S-U-C-K-E-R and it was over! :)

What fun! Thanks Larry and Robin for coming out! It was a joy to see you again!

All in the family

My husband’s sister, her husband, my niece and nephew all stopped over today to take some quick family photos. I was thrilled that she wanted black and white! YAY!

I just had to take a quick break from editing to post this one – I LOVE IT! :) Aren’t they beautiful?

An evening at the orchard

Last weekend I had a lot of fun with this session! Robin is a regular of mine that has brought her little one, Emilee, back many times for photographs.

It was with joy that I photographed her entire family! They were completely laid back and up for anything, even though it was a little chilly (and dad was a little hungry! :) ) I think we got some great photos!

This one was really cute!

Miki: Cranbrook Class of 2010

Meet the beautiful Tiffany, or Miki, as her friends call her :) We met up at Cranbrook for some breathtaking senior photographs.

Not only is Miki photogenic, but she plays field hockey and softball and is also part of her school’s robotics team! Talk about well-rounded!

It was a blast to walk around Cranbrook again. There is just no other place like it in the area!

This next one was actually her mom’s idea – good going mom! :)

Mike: 2010 Holly High School senior

First off, I have to apologize, because I am WAY behind on my blogging. Things have gotten crazy over here, and I’m editing like mad! So for those waiting for previews, I will try and catch up! I promise! :)

Here is Mike, a 2010 Holly High School senior. It was a lot of fun to take his photos about a week back, since the fall colors are just starting to look extraordinary! We headed over to Diehl’s Orchard before hitting up downtown Davisburg.

Looking for something extra?

Well we may have you covered! McDonald Photography now offers framing, with many, many, many different styles to choose from. Just a few of the examples are shown below:

262thumb blackcurved beadedmahog bronzeornate goldaccent pewterribbed goldcurved naturalSM

silvercurved silvermetalSM silverornate stainedwalnutSM

The best part is, no matter what size you choose, the price is the same for ALL style frames! Say you want a 16×20 – no matter what frame you like, the price doesn’t change — that means it makes no difference if you’d like something fancy or simple! No compromise necessary!

You also have the option of no glass, standard glass and non-glare glass as well as black or white 2-inch mats. Adding a mat to a photograph will increase the height and width of the photograph by 4 inches.

Additionally, McDonald Photography is teaming up with our good friend from Imaginique Studios – Mary Lyn Wilson – to offer photographic paintings. Her work is phenomenal!

Any photo can be painted! Just ask!

Framing samples are also available to view at Jennifer’s studio.
