I had the honor of photographing the wedding of Brian and Sheree on Sunday! Brian is a friend of mine I met in high school – we even took swing dancing classes together! So when he gave me a call inquiring about photography, I was more than thrilled to travel over to the west side of the state for their beach wedding in St. Joseph, which is off of Lake Michigan.

The cool thing about Brian and Sheree is they met while sailing on the ocean! Brian has even appeared as an extra in several of the “Pirates of the Caribbean” movies! Isn’t that the coolest?!

Any hoo, their wedding was absolutely breathtaking and I couldn’t think of a more perfect place than Silver Beach.

This was the most personal touch I’ve seen at a wedding: when Brian and Sheree were sailing together, they would hide Popsicle sticks for each other to find – all of them had special messages. They thought it would be cool to use all of the sticks as favors for their guests. How sweet!

I couldn’t decide which sunset photo I liked the best, so I posted them all! Maybe all of my fellow blog-viewers could leave me a comment to let me know which one they like? It’s SO hard to choose! Brian and Sheree were so romantic and willing to try ANYTHING – so how could they not turn out well?
